You can choose to record these manually or with data communication input using a compatible device.
• Urine glucose can only be entered manually as there is no corresponding communication device.
The Bluetooth Low Energy compatible BCM can be used with iPhone 6s or later, and Android devices equipped with Bluetooth.
(Click here for a list of compatible smartphone devices.)
If you are using the BCM linked with the App for the first time, follow the steps below to set it up.
Have your smartphone and BCM ready. Insert batteries in the BCM and leave it turned OFF.
When you make measurements using Noru Pita (V Pita) function without a smartphone, you can save up to 10 sets of data on the BCM.
• The weight of your clothing and smartphone will not be deducted. If you want to subtract the weight of your clothes and smartphone, please make your measurement using a smartphone.
Send the measurement data saved on the BCM to your smartphone using one of the following methods. Also, by having made your measurements using your smartphone, the measurement data already saved in the BCM will be sent as well.
・How to retrieve data saved in the BCM by operating the app.
・How to retrieve data saved in the BCM when launching the app.
Use the “Automatic data retrieval from BCM” function to automatically retrieve data from Noru Pita and V Pita measurements saved in the BCM.
After this, whenever you launch the app, the icon to the left of Weight on the home screen will blink and the measurement data saved in the BCM will be sent to your smartphone.
• The BCM must be turned OFF and the app must be completely closed (in taskkill state) before launching it.
• Communication distance between the BCM and app should be within 5m with good visibility. Please be aware that moving the smartphone or operating it while carrying it around during communication can cause a communication error, and data may be lost.
• When multiple BCMs are paired with a single ID, automatic retrieval will only work for the first BCM found among the paired.
Automatic retrieval of BCM data is a function that lets you automatically retrieve data saved in the BCM by making measurements with Noru Pita or V Pita when the app is activated, provided that connection settings and initial measurement have been completed in advance.
Noru Pita and V Pita Measurements
For BCM compatible Noru Pita, simply step on the BCM while it is turned OFF. For BCM compatible V Pita, turn the power ON, pull up the control panel and step on the scale barefoot. The user recognition function automatically recognizes the person being measured from among the registered users and displays the results. Being able to taking measurements even when you don’t have a smartphone on hand makes it convenient.
• The function will be either Noru Pita or V Pita, depending on the BCM. Please refer to the instruction manual for each device.
